Mary Louise Sayland

Mary Louise Ferree Sayland, 87 of Randleman died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:00 on Thursday, March 3rd at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd with funeral services conducted immediately following with the Reverend Joe T. Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Browers Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born in Randolph County on April 4, 1928, Mrs. Sayland was the daughter of the late Ernest Lloyd and Bertha Lambert Ferree. She was retired from the Asheboro Randolph Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sayland was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Sayland, sisters, Anna Lloyd Grant, Margaret Stoer, Mildred Pickett and Sylvia Cox, and brothers, Boyd Ferree and Joe Ferree. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Anthony Sayland. Surviving are son, Wayne Sayland of Maysville, NC, grandson, Bobby Sayland of Greenville, NC, sister, Carolyn Curton of Lipan, Texas and 4 great-granddaughters Jenna and Emily Sayland of Snow Hill, NC and Kara and Ava Sayland of Greenville, NC. In Lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice of Randolph County, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Sayland family.
