Mary Evelyn McCall Minton, age 78, of Pleasant Ridge Rd., Franklinville died Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.Mrs. Minton was a native of Tazewell County, VA and was a member of Fundamental Christian Church in Princeton, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden "Lee" Minton. She was a devout Christian and a loving mother and grandmother.She is survived by her daughters, Mary Mills and her husband A.P. of Liberty, NC, Karen Williams and her husband Cliff of Franklinville, NC; sons, Linden Minton and his wife Wanda of Asheboro, NC, Titus Minton and his wife Lisa of Franklinville, NC; granddaughters, Kiesha Osborne and her husband James of Asheboro, NC, Candice Williams and her fiancee Justin Hunt of Randleman, NC, Aimee Minton and her fiancee Mark McMillan of Franklinville, Teresa Lynn Minton of Tazewell, VA; grandsons, Justin Minton of Franklinville, NC, Travis Williams and his wife Brandy of Asheboro, NC, Brandon Williams and his fiancee Cindy Crumb of Franklinville, NC, Roy Williams and his wife Melissa of Franklinville, NC and 8 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of Karen and Cliff Williams, 404 Pleasant Ridge Rd., Franklinville, NC. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Gage and staff, Dr. Sandhu, and the 4th floor nurses at Randolph Hospital, especially Janie and Michelle, and Universal Healthcare and staff for the wonderful care given to Mary during her illness.
