Mary Lee Richardson Holder

Mary Lee Richardson Holder, 90, of Troy, North Carolina died June 25, 2010. Mary Lee was born September 23, 1919 in Siler City, North Carolina to the late William J. and Mattie Marley Richardson. She attended Campbell College and lived her young adult years in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was predeceased by her husband William Cicero Hammer Holder. For the last 41 years she was the owner and operator of a gift shop on Main Street in Troy, North Carolina. Mary Lee was a member of First Baptist Church, Troy, NC and was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to many. She is survived by children: Susan Holder Hood and Mark of Columbia, SC, The Rev. Mark Holder and Judy McIntyre of Ruckersville, VA, William "Bill" Holder of Huntersville, NC and Sandy Holder Irving and Deane of Raleigh, NC, Grandchildren: Carleton and Deidre Irving, Ernest Irving, Tirrell Toney, Gregory Holder, Laura Holder, Leigh Hood Ladd and Gray, Austin Hood ; Great-grandchildren: Caden and Addyson Irving , Cristian Robb-Butcher, Rell Toney . The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 3-5 PM at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Troy, NC. A graveside service will be held in the Asheboro City Cemetery on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM.
