Mary Calvert Freeman, age 82, of 405 Farmer Rd. Apt. 3-G, Asheboro died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at her home.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Samuel K. Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.Mrs. Freeman was a native of Baltimore, MD and was retired from Centel Telephone Company after 25 years of service. She was of the Catholic faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Lyndon Freeman. She is survived by her sons, Lenny Freeman and his wife Monica of Baltimore, MD, Gary Freeman and his wife Chris of Asheboro, NC; daughter, Lisa Freeman of Asheboro, NC;grandchildren, Justin Freeman, Tasha York, Cody York, Annette Quigley and her husband Steve, Jennifer McElwee, Crystal Simpson and her husband Bryan, Thomas Tate and his wife Jamie, Eric Tate and his wife Tasha; great grandchildren, Kyle, Bailey, Brayton, Aisia, Bryce, Christian, Hunter, and Elizabeth; brothers, Buddy Calvert of Ocean City, MD, Andrew Calvert of Baltimore, MD, and Edward Calvert of Baltimore, MD.The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at her home.
