Mary Chriscoe Moore

Mary Allene Chriscoe Moore, age 89, of Asheboro died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Moore was born December 19, 1921 in Moore County, the daughter of Carl Stanley and Maggie Cagle Chriscoe. Mrs. Moore was a native of Moore County and retired at the age 74 from Randolph Hospital after 24 years of service. Mary was one of the founding members of Sunset Avenue Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Worth Odell "Bill" Moore and daughter, Mary Bernice Melton. She is survived by her son, Richard Lee Moore and his wife, Lynn of Summerville, SC, three grandchildren, Heather Moore, Hollie Moore and Chris Moore. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 10, 20011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro , NC. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 11, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Avenue Church of God, 900 Sunset Ave., Asheboro with Pastor Boyd Byerly officiating.
