Mary Catherine "Cathy" Britt

Mary Catherine “Cathy” Sikes Britt, age 74, of Troy died Monday, May 16, 2016 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Mrs. Britt was born August 6, 1941 in Richmond County, NC, the daughter of Oscar Sikes and Rosie Amolee Thompson Sikes Richardson, both who precede her in death. She was a former employee in the textile and furniture industries. She is survived by her children: George Lee Lucas, Jr. (Deborah Callicutt Lucas) of Mt. Gilead, Timothy Wayne Lucas (Cynthia East Lucas) of Star, Maria Lynn Lucas of Havelock and Roger Eugene Lucas of Star; Grandchildren: Lee Lucas, III; Christopher Brian Lucas, Adam Wayne Lucas (Jamilla), John Harley Lucas (Kecia), Josh Callicutt (Ashley); Step-grandchildren: Patrick Shane Lucas (Tina Lucas), Chelsea F Lucas; Great-grandchildren: Nevaeh Lucas, Jonathan Lucas, Trevor Lucas, Jase Lucas, Chase Callicutt, Brandy Lucas, Dylan Lucas, Ashleigh Lucas, Nicholas Lucas, Landon Lucas, Brantley Lucas, Clayton Lucas and Kenzie Lucas. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N Main St., Troy.
