Marvin Wayne Gerringer, Sr.

Marvin Wayne Gerringer, age 61, of Randleman died Monday, June 21, 2021 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Gerringer was born December 26, 1959 the son of Charlie and Edna Wilson Gerringer. Marvin was a member of Mount Calvary Independent Baptist Church and had worked in construction. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Edna Gerringer; sister Nancy Jo Durham and 2 brothers: James Thurman Gerringer and Jimmy Darrell Gerringer. He is survived by his wife: Linda Robbins Gerringer of the home; daughter: Shera Pierce and husband Timothy of Randleman; son: Marvin Wayne Gerringer, Jr of Winston- Salem; grandchildren: Angel Baxter, Christian Baxter, Mary Gerringer and Charity Pierce. The funeral service will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Mt Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 1206 Oakland Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Neil C. Poole officiating. Visitation will follow after the service. Burial will be at Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro Monday, June 28, 2021 at 11:00 am.
