Martha JoAnne Williamson

Martha JoAnne Cox Williamson, age 80, of Randleman died Monday, March 27, 2017. Mrs. Williamson was born May 18, 1936 the daughter of Percy and Leoline Routh Cox. Martha was a native of Randolph County and retired from Walmart. Martha enjoyed working and going to the beach. The light of her eye was family, whom she loved spending time with. She came from a large family and every Thursday Morning all of her siblings meet at Jed's BBQ for breakfast. In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband Odell Williamson, sisters: Ruth Lineberry, Blanche Powell, Mary Routh Underwood, and Louvelia Morris, brothers: John Page and Charles Cox, and her beloved dog "Paris". She is survived by her sons: Todd Williamson of Randleman and Charles Randel Williamson; granddaughter, Amber Williamson Hogan (Steven) of Asheboro; great grandchildren, Elias and Walker Hogan; sisters: twin sister Margaret Ester, Doris Beeson, Rachel Davis and Irene Surratt; brothers: James Cox, Wayne Cox and Percy Cox, Jr.; Beloved Friend, Ruth Whitt. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 10:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Hugh C. Spaulding and Pastor Mike Jones officiating.
