Martha Wofford Van Zile

Martha Wofford Van Zile, age 88, of 514 Vision Dr., Asheboro died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Carolina House of Asheboro. Ms. Van Zile was a native of Boaz, Alabama, was retired from Westview Manor Nursing Home after 20 years of service, and was of the Protestant faith. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Girod and her husband Marc of Asheboro, NC; sons, Stephan Van Zile of Asheboro, NC, Joel Van Zile of Akron, OH; grandchildren, Suzanne Megan Girod of Asheboro, NC; Gabriel Stephan Van Zile of Akron , OH; and Amanda Roberts of Akron, OH; great grandchildren, Cindi Van Zile, Jacob Van Zile and Sophia Roberts; sisters, Ruth Popkes of Texas and Jackie Gann of Seagrove, TX; brothers, Harvey Wofford of Alabama and David Wofford of Orlando, FL. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Carolina House, 514 Vision Dr., Asheboro with Rev. Robert Armstrong officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009.
