Martha Robertson

Martha Strickland Robertson, 68 of Troy, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 8, 2021. Martha was born on November 1, 1952 to the late Lacy Strickland and the late Madeline Coley (Boots) in Randolph County, NC. She was a homemaker who loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to eat out, play cards, watching westerns on TV, and especially Judge Judy. She enjoyed visiting White Lake. She is survived by her husband Steve Robertson; son J.R. Rich (Jennifer) of Sophia; daughter: Tammy Brady (Mickey) of Franklinville; stepson: Steve M. Robertson, Jr.(Carolyn) of Troy and stepdaughter Sandra R. Thompson of Asheboro; 16 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters: Sue Sparks of Seagrove, Alice Oates of Troy, Becky Grant of Randleman, and Jenny McDaniels of Randleman; brothers: Johnny Strickland of Asheboro, Gary Strickland of Star, and Randy Strickland of Denton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Teresa Hurley. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharries at 960 N. First St., Albemarle, NC 28001.
