Martha Kay Garner Caudill

Martha Kay Garner Caudill, age 77, of Asheboro passed away on February 15, 2024 at Randolph Hospital.

Mrs. Caudill was born in Randolph County on December 20, 1946 to Alton and Doris McNeill Garner.  Martha retired from Energizer Battery and Black & Decker and was a licensed beautician.  She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her grandson, Hunter Immel. Martha enjoyed gardening and traveling to the beach.  She loved her grandchildren, and a big part of her life was spending time with them.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Carl Caudill; daughter, Caroline Immel and husband Tom of Asheboro; son, Derrick Caudill and wife Brooke Schmidly of Asheboro; and grandchildren, Drake Immel, Shane Immel, Sierra Caudill, and Stephen Caudill.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Union Grove Baptist Church, 7912 Union Grove Church Road in Seagrove.  Funeral services will follow on Sunday at 3:00 pm at the church with Dr. Ron Chaney and Rev. Farrell Hussey officiating.  Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
