Martha Sue Berry Brown

Martha Sue Berry Brown, age 74, of Asheboro passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home.

Ms. Brown was born in Asheboro on October 17, 1944 to Michael and Pauline Parsons Berry. She was retired from Stickley Furniture in Archdale. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her former spouse, Darrell Brown, and her brother, Joe Berry. Martha enjoyed doing crafts and reading, and she often traded and sold the books she read. Martha had a special corner at Clapp's that she liked to sit and greet residents, staff, and visitors. This special place was aptly named "Martha's Corner."

She is survived by her sons, Darrin Brown of Thomasville, Rodney Brown of Thomasville, and David Brown and wife Gail Marsh of Tyro; and sister, Marilyn Louise Berry of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.
