Mark Alan Nance, Jr.

Mark Alan Nance, Jr., age 31, of 190 Ravenwood Drive, Asheboro died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at his home. Mark, Jr. was born December 24, 1979 the son of Mark Alan and Sandra Hull Nance. Mark was born in Asheboro, graduated from Oconaluftee in the Cherokee Mountains in 1996 where he studied child development. He enjoyed drawing, especially architectural house plans, and loved to sing. He enjoyed his friends and his canine companion Boomer. Mark is preceded in death by his: paternal grandparents: Robert and Pauline Nance; maternal grandmother: Hazel Hull and his uncle: Michael Nance. He is survived by: father and his wife: Mark A. and Yolanda Nance of Winter Haven, FL; mother: Sandra Hoisington of Randleman; life partner: Mike Crabtree of Asheboro, NC; maternal grandfather: Ed Hull of Randleman, NC; cousin: Regan Messenger of Spartanburg, SC; uncle: Barry Nance of Asheboro, NC; uncle: Chris Nance of Asheboro, NC; aunt: Shelia Stanley of Randleman, NC; and aunt: Lisa Messenger of Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends Monday, March 14, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro with Rev. Gene Davis and Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating.
