Marjorie Etta Adams

Marjorie Spillman Adams, age 92, of Randleman died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Clapp's Nursing Center, Inc., Pleasant Garden. Marjorie was a long time resident of Randolph County. She was a member of Old Union United Methodist Church and attended Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. Marjorie was a homemaker who took great pride in serving her family. Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband Harvey Adams. She is survived by her son: Harvey "Kenneth" Adams and his wife Donna of Randleman; daughters:Katherine Kesslick and her husband Mike of Jamestown, Judy Adams of Randleman, and Patty Starr and her husband Steve of Randleman; grandchildren: Heidi Fields and her husband Matt, Jamie Garner and her husband Glenn and Hannah Starr; great grandchildren: Garrett Garner and Macie Fields. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 am at Old Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5077 Walker Mill Rd., Sophia with Rev. Joel Long officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship building and other times at the home of Patty Starr, 8111 Adams Farm Rd., Randleman, NC 27317. Memorials may be made to Old Union United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 5566 Branson Davis Rd., Sophia, NC 27350. Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman is serving the Adams family.
