Marion Wade Osborne

Marion Wade Osborne, age 87, of 204 Sellers Street, Oak Island died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Dosher Memorial Hospital, Southport, NC. A native of Lexington, NC Mr. Osborne graduated from Lenior Rhyne College where he was on the football team. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Union Carbide as General Foreman. He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne C. Osborne, parents E.C. and Viola Osborne and brother Ernest C. Osborne all of Lexington, NC. He is survived by: daughter & her husband, Sally & Ed Tysinger of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife, Michael & Dorothy Osborne of Todd, NC; grandson & his wife, Bryan & Amber Tysinger; granddaughter and her husband, Kelly & Jeremy Adams of Timberland, NC; grandson & his wife, Marc & Kara Osborne of Conover, NC; grandson & his wife, Matt & Kelly Osborne of Todd, NC; Great Granddaughter, Ella Adams of Timberland, NC The funeral will be Tuesday, December 11 2007 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.
