Marilyn Ruth Hutchins

Marilyn Ruth Hutchins, age 70, of Asheboro died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House. Ms. Hutchins was born October 6, 1946 in Charleston, SC to Elmer S. and Helen N. Hutchins. She graduated from Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, VA and attended Randolph Community College. She was employed with Sally's Beauty Supply from 1995 until 2013. Ms. Hutchins was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and one of the founding members of the Columbiettes. In addition to her parents, Ms. Hutchins was preceded in death by her sons, Frank Garey Wallace, Jr. and Jody William Wallace. She is survived by daughters, Lori Anne Reed, Cheri Ellen Wallace; grandchildren, Aaron, Kayla, Jay, Anthony and DeAndre; sister, Cheryl F Albus; brothers, Gary W. Hutchins, Gregory E. Hutchins. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.
