Marilyn Sue Bailey

Marilyn Sue Bailey, age 75, of Randleman died Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mrs. Bailey was born October 24, 1943 the daughter of Paul Easton and Mildred Louise Johnson Bailey. Marilyn was a native of Sanford, NC, but graduated from Asheboro High School in 1961. She retired from Clapp's Nursing Home in Asheboro. Marilyn attended North Pointe Pentecostal Church in High Point and formerly Faith Community Church in Asheboro.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Gilliland and husband Jay of Randleman; son, Joseph "Joey" Turner and wife Rebecca; grandchildren: Ashley Layton and Adam Gilliland both of Randleman, Cody Gilliland (Danielle) and Quincy Gilliland (Natalie) of Gastonia; brothers: Darius Bailey (Shelby) of Randleman and Tim Bailey (Anita) of Asheboro.

The family is going to receive friends Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 6-7 pm with the funeral service following at 7:00 pm at North Pointe Pentecostal Church, 5225 High Point Road, High Point. Pastor Darrell Greene and Wayne Eller officiating. Burial will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 11:00 am Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
