Margine Garner

Margine Allen Garner, age 75, of Randleman died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital, Atlanta.

Mrs. Garner was born March 12, 1943 the daughter of Sterling Wilbur and Helen Elizabeth Walden Allen. Margine was a native of Randolph County and a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church. She attended Bennett College and A & T University. Margine was employed at Mr. Jeans and retired from Arrow International. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Margine is preceded in death by her brothers, James "Bo" Allen and Kelly Allen.

She is survived by her husband: Jimmy Garner of the home; sons: Sterling Stephen Garner of Lexington, NC and Chris Garner of Randleman, NC; daughter: Danielle "Dee-Dee" Garner Garrett and husband Gary of Snellville, GA.; grandchildren, Justin Beverly, Gary Garrett, Jr., Lindsey Garrett, Darian Garrett, and Allie Garrett; Siblings: Jerry Allen and wife Eldora, Susan Allen, Anthony Allen and wife Janet and Mimi Allen all of Randleman, NC.

Mrs. Garner will lie in state Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1:00-1:30 PM and the family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 PM at St. Peter's Methodist Church, 497 St. Peter Church Rd., Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Marcia Oliver and Rev. Faye Herbin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
