Margie Rush Redding

Margie Rush Redding, age 83, of 1203 Pepperidge Rd., Asheboro died Monday, April 20, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Richard Crider and Pastor Frank Barrett officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.Mrs. Redding was a native of Randolph County, retired from Union Carbide and was a longtime member of Oakhurst Baptist Church. She was active with her husband in the Civitans and was a volunteer with Randolph County Social Services. Mrs. Redding was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Charles Redding, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Bost, Tammy R. Smith; son, Jeff Redding all of Asheboro; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Irene Rush, Bertha Cooper both of Asheboro.The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at her home.Memorials may be made to March of Dimes, P.O.
