Margaret Scott Ward, 90, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday July 20, 2012 at Randolph County Hospice House in Asheboro. Ms. Ward was a native of Nicholas County, West Virginia, a beloved mother of four, homemaker, generous and kind lover of life and art. She was a lifelong Christian and member of First Wesleyan Church in Randleman, NC. Ms. Ward was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Albert Ward and is survived by her daughter of the home, Nancy O'Dell; sons, Robert Ward of Greensboro, Richard Ward of Lexington, Randy Ward of Cameron, NC; grandchildren, David and Margaret O'Dell, Lisa Ward Cumes, Kelly Ward, Kaitlyn Ward, Taylor Ward, Ashley Ward Brown; great grandchildren, Alexis and Ryan Ess, Michael and Evan O'Dell, Brooklyn, Olivia, and Caleb Cumes. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 24 2012 at First Wesleyan Church in Randleman with Rev. Don Hurlburt and Rev. Mark Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Monday July 23 2012 for visitation and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to First Wesleyan Church, 125 Tabernacle St., Randleman, NC 27317 or Hospice Of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009.
