Margaret Phillips, age 90, of Asheboro went to meet her Savior on Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Randolph Hospice House.
Mrs. Phillips was born in Moore County, NC on March 18, 1925 to Dewey and Myrtle Elkins Phillips. Margaret was a homemaker and a member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Phillips and five brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Craven and husband Larry of Asheboro; grandson, Phillip Craven and wife Angela of Denton; sister, Doris P. Sheppard of Carthage; and brother, Ed Phillips of Glendon.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Fayetteville Street Baptist Church, 901 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 1:30 pm at Fayetteville Street Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Phillips and Dr. Bruce Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
