Margaret Routh Julian

Margaret Routh Julian was born on December 12, 1916 and passed away on February 28, 2011 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred W. Julian of 48 years, daughter, Wanda Julian Lambert, sister, Carletta Pugh and her parents Isaac and Gertrude Routh. Mrs. Julian graduated from Grays Chapel High School and was a lifetime member of Grays Chapel United Methodist Church. She spent 16 years as Cafeteria Manager at Grays Chapel School and later was a dietician at Randolph Hospital where she retired at age 77. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, and gardening. She was loved by everyone and was a stranger to no one. She is survived by a son Phillip Wyatt Julian and wife Joyce; son-in-law Roger Lambert; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; brothers Junius Routh and wife Daisy, Thomas Routh and wife Lula, and Jimmy Routh and wife Emma. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastors Doug Miller and Alanda Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to express a special thanks to everyone at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.
