Margaret B. Hyatt, age 85, of 6549 Hyatt Dr., Randleman, went to be with the Lord in that great homecoming on September 9, 2008. Born January 6, 1923, in Randolph County, a daughter of the late James C. and Malta (Adams) Bowers.Mrs. Hyatt was a homemaker. She was a member of Level Cross Baptist Church. She enjoyed being with family, friends and most of all she loved the Lord. She was a woman of great faith, always praying for her family and friends. Her hobbies included cooking, canning, collecting cookbooks, dolls and thimbles. When you went to her house to take her something you always left with something. She retired from Laughlin Hosiery Mill in Randleman. She is preceded in death by her husband. Gilbert Lee Hyatt son, Bobby W. Hiatt,sisters, Mary Hyatt and Dorothy Martin. Sr. She is survived by sons: Walter L. Hyatt and wife, Tessie of Sophia, Johnny W. Hyatt and wife, Anita of Randleman, Jimmy C. Hyatt and wife Judy of Liberty, Tommy S. Hyatt and wife Debbie of Liberty, Charlie G. Hyatt and wife, Angela of Asheboro, Frank G. Hyatt and wife Rene of Sophia. Daughters: Marie H. Williams of Sophia, JoAnn Gerringer and husband, Dennis of Greensboro, Joyce Hiatt and husband, Ronnie of Sophia, Darlene Barham and husband James of Stokesdale, daughter-in-law, Sandra Hiatt of Asheboro. 26 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Four brothers: Grayson Bowers and Charles Bowers both of Archdale, Claude Bowers of High Point, and Darrell Bowers of Trinity. Five sisters: Mildred Austin of Charlotte, Nellie Hubbard of Sophia, Rose Morgan of Trinity, Shirley Edwards of High Point, and Ruth DeBusk of Winston- Salem. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 6-9 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 12, 2008 at 2:00PM at Level Cross Baptist Church, 10169 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Randleman with Rev. Jerry Mills and Rev. Scott Hyatt officiating.
