Margaret Gibson

Margaret Glazener Gibson, age 89, of 2925 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Carillon Assisted Living Of Asheboro, Asheboro. Mrs. Gibson was born October 18, 1918 the daughter of Jason Marion and Malisa Elvira (Looper) Glazener. She was a native of Pelzer, SC; had worked as a Special Education Teacher in Madison, NC and was a homemaker. She was a member of Central United Methodist of Asheboro. She is preceded in death by her husband: Samuel Corbin Gibson and two sisters: Beatrice G. Owen and Bessie G. McJunkin. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands: Sue G. and John Brattain of Wingate, NC, Elaine G. and Bill Love of Kings Creek, SC and one son and his wife: William Samuel and Tina Gibson of Lancaster, CA; grandchildren: Robert Love, Ann Love Proctor, Leslie B. Barton, Anita B. Veyera, Heather Gibson, David Gibson, and Nicole Gibson and 3 great-grandchildren. The Memorial Service will be Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Barry L. Queen and Peggy Woodruff officiating.
