Margaret Ferree

Margaret Bunting Ferree, loving widow of James R. Ferree, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Randolph Hospice House. She was a resident at Clapp's Mountain Top Residential Apartments and was 87 years old. Mrs. Ferree was a graduate of Randleman High School and attended Greensboro College. She retired from Sapona Manufacturing after 27 years of service and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Mrs. Ferree was a member of the Randolph County Daughters of the American Revolution and was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Wanda Robbins Bunting and sister, Ernestine Jones. She will always be remembered as a loving, kind and gracious mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Jones of Randleman; son, James E. Ferree of Hilton Head, SC; grandchildren, Daniel Kyle Jones of Val Rico, FL, Jason Christopher Jones of Greensboro, Mandy Jones of Greensboro, Lori Ferree of Broomfield, CO; great grandchildren, Harrison Jones of Florida, Natalie, Rachel, Lydia, Rebecca and Luke Jones all of Greensboro. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Bethany United Methodist Church, 3650 Bethany Church Road, Franklinville, NC. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Russell Brownworth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
