Margaret Cox Causey, age 88, formerly of Asheboro died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Tidelands Community Hospice in Georgetown, SC.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First E & R United Church of Christ, 221 Cliff Road, Asheboro with Rev. Dale Kennedy officiating.
Mrs. Causey was born in Randolph County on October 12, 1923 to Carl and Ada Miller Cox. She was a homemaker and a member of the First E & R United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Causey and her daughter Jane Reavis.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Curtis and her husband Dwain of Murrells Inlet, SC; son, Jim Causey and his wife Joyce of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Megan Cauthen of Asheboro, NC, John Reavis of Manassas Park, VA, Jimmy Causey of Asheboro, NC, and Rebecca Knox of Franklinton, NC; great grandchildren, Jonathan Reavis of Manassas Park, VA, Ellie Reavis of Manassas Park, VA, Haley Cauthen of Asheboro, NC, Kaelyn Cauthen of Asheboro, NC, Logan Reavis of Manassas Park, VA, and Adalyn Knox of Franklinton, NC.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of her granddaughter, Megan Cauthen, 864 Redding Rd., Asheboro.
