Margaret Wicker Anderson

Mrs. Margaret Wicker Anderson,  99 of Randleman past away Friday, November 24th after a brief illness at the Hospice House   of Randolph.  Mrs. Anderson graduated from the Grays Chapel High School in 1942.  After graduation she attended High Point College and graduated in 1958.  She taught school for 30 years both in Franklinville and Ramseur.  Mrs. Anderson loved going to the beach, gardening, quilting and especially spending time with her family.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her brothers Francis, John, Newton, Bill, Louis and Frank.  She also was preceded in death by 2 sisters Nancy Benbow Strider and Bessie Wicker.  She also was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Plummer and her second husband Frank Anderson.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by sisters Doris Cain of Randleman, Irene Hunt of Asheboro, step-daughter Julia Willis of Climax, several nieces and nephews as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 2 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Highway 220 Bus N, Asheboro NC, 27203. Pastor Wayne Bryson will officiate.
