Marceline Katherine Evans

Marceline "Marcie" Katherine Ayers Evans, age 86, of Randleman died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Marcie was a graduate of High Point College in 1949 and retired from Myers Brothers in Greensboro. She was a volunteer for Hospice of Randolph, been a member of the Moose Lodge #1659 for many years and a Guardian Ad Litem. Marcie enjoyed gardening and cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband Sam Evans. She is survived by her son: Edward "Eddie" Evans and his wife Sherry of Randleman; daughters: Celista Dawn Evans of Asheboro and Sonya Marsh and her husband Mickey of Randleman; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister: Rebecca Hancock of Charlotte; and K-9 friend , Tinnie Bell. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:30 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11:30 at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Chris Heppding officiating.
