Maranda Carol Carrick

Maranda Carol Peele Carrick, age 62, of 1246-A Old Liberty Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Ms. Carrick was born in Hamlet, NC on July 26, 1949 to Jasper and Frances Strider Peele, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Zion Praise & Worship Center. Sally was formerly employed with Kayser-Roth for 32 years, Brian Center for 14 years, and was retired from Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home after 10 years of service. Sally was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Her joy in life was helping and caring for others. She was employed by Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home as a Housekeeper. She is survived by two daughters: Amanda Soto of Asheboro, NC, Angela Garcia of Seagrove, NC; two sisters: Kay Peele of Asheboro, NC, and Ann Beaver of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife, James and Shannon Bullard, Jr. of Asheboro, NC; brother and his wife, Larry and Patricia Strider of Asheboro, NC; sister and her husband, Sara and Johnnie Garner of High Falls, NC; 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. The family will receive friends Friday, April 6, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Robert Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to charity of donor's choice
