Mamie McDowell Rich, age 80, of 400 Vision Drive, Asheboro died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Born in Farmer, NC, Mrs. Rich had attended Bailey's Grove Baptist Church, and was homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Mavin Ray Rich and four sons, Timothy, Martin, Calvin, and Walter Rich. She is survived by one daughter: Alice Frazier and her husband Jesse of Ramseur, NC and two sons: Jerry Rich and his wife Denise of Franklinville, NC, and Donald Rich of Belton, TX; granddaughter Alicia and her husband, Ronnie Johnson of Maxton, NC; grandson, Tracy Allen of TX; grandson, Mavin Rich of Franklinville, NC; granddaughter, Lela Rich of Franklinville, NC; grandson, Jerry Rich of Franklinville, NC; great granddaughter, Eva Bailey; great granddaughter, Alivia Bowen; great grandson, Lyndon Kennedy; great granddaughter, Sara Adams; great grandson, Cameron Allen; great grandson, Chadwick Allen; great great granddaughter, Dixie Kennedy The funeral will be Wednesday, August 21,2013 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating. Burial will follow in Back Creek Friends Meeting Cemetery, Asheboro. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and at other times at the home of her son Jerry, 1619 Ramseur-Julian Road, Liberty, NC.
