Malcolm Hughes

William Malcolm Hughes, age 75, of Asheboro died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Hughes was born January 5, 1941 in Randolph County to Troy and Ama Luther Hughes. He was a lifetime brick mason and avid motorcycle rider. Mr. Hughes was a member of Flag Springs United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Aldridge Hughes; daughter, Tina Wood and husband Dave of Longs, SC; sons, Anthony Fruitt and wife Kim of Greensboro, Chris Fruitt of Asheboro; grandchildren, Savanna Wood of Longs, SC, Kristen Fruitt of Greensboro, Ryan Fruitt of Greensboro; sister, Carolyn Harris of Longs, SC; niece, Sherri Harris of Little River, SC.
