Dora Maie Hoover, age 94, of 403 Henry Parrish Rd., Asheboro died Friday, February 13, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Mrs. Hoover was born March 7, 1914 the daughter of Ransom and Lola Pierce Johnson. Mrs. Hoover was a native of Randolph County and was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter: Mona Stout of Asheboro, NC and daughter-in-law: Josephine Hoover of Asheboro.The family will receive friends Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 3:00 PM-3:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The Graveside Service will be Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 4:00 PM at Back Creek Friends Meeting Cemetery, Back Creek Church Road, Asheboro with Rev. David Hunt officiating.
