Maggie Cranford

Maggie Allean Frye Cranford,94, of Randleman, died Monday, November 23, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House. Maggie was known as Mumzie Lou & Miss Maggie by her loved ones. She enjoyed traveling, taking trips to the beach, camping and fishing. Maggie was an excellent seamstress. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 ½ years, Robert Lee Cranford and her son, Melvin Douglas Cranford. She is survived by her daughters: Brenda Hill and her husband Jerry of Salisbury, Betty Staley and her husband Darrell of Sophia , Carolyn Jones of Pleasant Garden and Nancy Parrish of Sophia: son Steve Cranford of Randleman; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brother: Jay Frye of Albermarle; special friends: Donald Windsor and Audrey Harrelson. The family will receive friends Friday, November 27, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Betty Staley. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 46977 Wesley Chapel Rd., Misenheimer, NC with Pastor Jim Honeycutt officiating. The family would like to extend a special “Thanks” to Randolph Hospice House for their excellent care.
