Mada Hayes

Mada Trogdon Hayes, age 91, formerly of 357 New Salem Rd., Randleman died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Hayes was born March 3, 1920 the daughter of Homer and Nancy Trogdon. Mrs. Hayes was a native of Randolph County and a member of New Salem United Methodist Church. Mada was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, C.O. Hayes, son Jimmy Hayes, sister Lucille Barnes and brother-in-law Dink Hayes. She is survived by her daughter: Shirley Flinchum and her husband Ronnie of Randleman; son: C.O. Hayes, Jr. and his wife Sue of Randleman; daughter-in-law Tammy Hayes of Randleman; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sister: Marie Linthicum of Randleman; brothers: H.E. Trogdon of Greensboro and Elwood Trogdon of High Point; sister-in-laws, Ruth Hayes of Asheboro, Winnie Hinshaw of Cary and Amy Lee of Colorado Springs, Co. The family will receive friends Friday, October 28, 2011 from 1:30-2:00 PM at New Salem United Methodist Church, 623 New Salem Church Road, Randleman, NC and other times at C.O. Hayes home, 4664 Oakwood Trail, Randleman. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Joyce Bunn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
