Mable Alford Smith

Mable Alford Smith, age 88, of 1819-B Saddlewood Court, Asheboro passed away at her home on Sunday, November 23, 2008.Mable was born October 31, 1920 to Homer Lee and Alma Odom Alford. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Asheboro. She was loved by her family and many friends and will always hold a special place in our hearts.She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Miller and her husband Joseph of Boone, NC; granddaughter, Kelly Miller Swaney and her husband Carey; great granddaughter, Kaitlyn; sisters, Myrtice Edwards and Leaette Braswell both of Eastman, GA. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Asheboro with Rev. Mark Hall officiating. Inurnment will be Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Willis-Epperson Cemetery in Williston, FL.The family invites friends to visit Mable's home at 1819-B Saddlewood Court, Asheboro on Wednesday, November 26th following the service.Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Home of North Carolina, P.O.
