Mabel Tuttle Farlow, age 89, of Randleman died Sunday, November 2, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. Farlow was a native of Guilford County and retired from Commonwealth Hosiery with 40 years of service. Mabel regularly attended Old Union United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who had a pleasing personality and loved to laugh. She loved her family, church and most of all God. She is preceded in death by her husband Grady Farlow; children, Brenda Swaney, Marvin Neal and Lloyd Ray Farlow; brothers, John and Ray Tuttle; sister, Vallie Harrington.
She is survived by her children: Dianne Fain and her husband Roger of Ferrum, VA; Barbara Bishop and her husband Carl of Ridgeway, VA; Eugene Farlow and his wife Wanda of Randleman; David Farlow of Climax and his fiancée Violet Brame of Burlington; Patricia Benson and her husband Joey of Sophia; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; brother: Roger Tuttle and wife Mona of Randleman.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of her son Eugene Farlow of Randleman. The funeral service will be held Friday, November 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Old Union United Methodist Church, 5077 Walker Mill Rd., Sophia with Rev. Ed Armfield officiating. Burial will follow at Marlboro Friends Meeting Cemetery, Sophia.
