Lynn Cribb Davis, age 68, of Asheboro passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
Mrs. Davis was born in Randolph County on September 11, 1947 to Archie and Thelma Cooper Cribb. She was a 1965 graduate of Asheboro High School and was retired from United Brass Works after 37 years of service. Lynn attended City of Refuge Church in Randleman. Lynn enjoyed soap operas, music, hummingbirds, and her dogs Cinnamon and Patches.
She is survived by her husband, Junior Davis; daughters, Michele Jernigan and husband Pablo Corrales of Randleman, Christie and boyfriend Ty Warren of Asheboro; sons, Rodney Gross and Timothy Casey both of Asheboro; step daughter, Renee Jernigan of Asheboro; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Dawn Aldridge and husband Scott of Randleman, Jane Lawson and husband Paul of Archdale; and brother, Galen Cribb and wife Cheryl of Asheboro.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. DeQuincy Lewis and the staff of the Randolph Cancer Center for the care and concern given to Lynn.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rhonda Levy and Pastor Donna Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Freeman-Tucker Cemetery in Star.
