Lulu Grace Lee Osteen, age 85, of Asheboro died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Osteen was a native of South Dakota, was a homemaker and attended Central United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Frank Osteen and son, Dennis Philip Osteen.
She is survived by son, Dr. Thomas Lee Osteen and wife Chris of Asheboro; daughter, Deborah Ann Osteen Taylor and husband Charles (Bud) of Shawnee, KS; grandchildren, Jason Philip Osteen of Kansas City, MO, Andrew James Osteen of Kansas City, MO, Andrea Laine Osteen Lingle and husband Luther Eugene Lingle III of Asheville, Jeremiah Dane Osteen and wife Victoria of San Francisco, CA, Patrick Philip Osteen of Asheboro, Russell Joseph Taylor of Kansas City, MO, Lauren Taylor Watts and husband Bryan of Overland Park, MO; great grandchildren, Ellie and Lily Watts, Laine, Annabel and Oliver Lingle; sister, Ardys Hagen of Venice, FL.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 3:00-4:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church, 300 S. Main St., Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm with Dr. Terry L. Matthews and Rev. Luke Lingle officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
