Lula Mae Finch

Lula Mae Goff Finch, age 97, of Asheboro died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro. Mrs. Finch was born June 11, 1917 in Rustburg, VA the daughter of William Edwin and Judith Elizabeth Cardwell Goff. Ms. Finch was a native of Campbell County, Virginia. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over 65 years, a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Asheboro for 60 years and retired from Acme McCrary Hosiery. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Miles Finch. Ms. Finch is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. The funeral will be held following the visitation at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Spaulding officiating.
