Lucille Carter Stevens, 79, of 118 Torch Drive Randleman, died Sunday, December 9th at her home.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 12th at 2pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Randleman with Brother Buddy Fox and Pastor Tommy R. Kidd officiating. The burial will follow Country Holiness Cemetery, Worthville Road, Randleman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, from 6 to 8 pm.
A native of Randleman, Mrs. Stevens was born February 22, 1933 the daughter of the late Robert and Lucy Carter. Lucille was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Randleman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Boyd, and brothers, Folger Carter and Bruce Carter.
Loving wife and mother, she is survived by husband of 64 years Joseph Daniel Stevens of the home: daughters LaDonna Beane and husband Monty Beane of Randleman, Debra Hunt and husband David Hunt of Randleman, sons Charles Lee Stevens of Goldsboro, Jerry Stevens and wife Joann of Hickory, Randy Stevens and wife Agnes Stevens of Randleman, Bobby Stevens and wife Tammy of Randleman; 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, sisters Alpha Ruth and Helen Allred both of Franklinville and brothers, George Carter of Staley, Aubrey Carter of Randleman, Robert Carter of Randleman, and James Carter of Thomasville.
