Lucille Blake, age 93, of Randleman died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Blake was born February 27, 1920 the daughter of James Willard and Susie Jeanette Kinney Brown. Lucille was a native of Randolph County and retired from Burlington Industries in Ramseur and attended Landmark Baptist Church in Asheboro. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Perry Marshall Blake, Sr., son, John Martin Blake and great granddaughter Nova Nicole Robinson. She is survived by her daughters: Sylvia Blake of Randleman, Brenda Gail Blake of Sylva, NC, and Katrina Blake of Asheboro; sons: Perry Marshall Blake, Jr. of Matthews, and Blythe Blake of Raleigh; grandchildren; Angela Jackson of Randleman, Robin Renee Ward of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sean Highfill of Ramseur; 7 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; sister: Betty Lennon of Asheboro. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Frank Barrett officiating. The Blake family would like to give a "Special Thanks" to the Hospice of Randolph and Angela Jackson for all of their care they have given to Lucille.
