Lucille Trogdon Barnes, age 94, of 400 Vision Dr., Asheboro died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Randolph Hospital. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 4431 Bowman Road, Randleman, NC. A memorial service will follow on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Mrs. Barnes was a native of Randolph County and a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy "Ann" Hester of Asheboro, NC; sons, Wayne Barnes of Annandale, VA, Robert Barnes of Carthage, NC, Kenneth Edward Cox of Ramseur, NC; sisters, Annie Marie Linthicum of Randleman, NC, Mae Agnes Hayes of Randleman, NC; and brothers, H.E. Trogdon of Greensboro, NC and Elwood Trogdon of Sophia, NC.
