Lourethia Cox Farlow

Lourethia Cox Farlow, age 92, of 407 Hawthorne Dr., Asheboro died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. Mrs. Farlow was born in Randolph County on October 13, 1920 to Walter A. and Mamie Smith Cox. She was retired from General Electric after 21 years of service and was a member of Asheboro Friends Meeting. In addition to her parents, Lourethia was preceded in death by her husband Frank Maurice Farlow, daughter Linda Farlow Brown, grandson Randy Lee Brown, and her siblings Joe, Wade, Howard, Ray, and W.R. Cox, Jessie Cox Allred and Nancy Cox. She is survived by her daughter, Loraine Cagle and her husband Terry of Greenville, NC; grandchildren, Mark Cagle and his wife Erin of Plymouth, NC, Matthew Cagle and his wife Heather of Morehead City, NC, Darlene Brown Aultman and her husband George of Spring Lake, NC, Darrell Brown and his wife Robin of Spring Lake, NC; great grandchildren, Britany Aultman Skipper and her husband Kenny of Sanford, NC, Ally Brown of Spring Lake, NC, Emma Brown of Spring Lake, NC, Blake Aultman of Spring Lake, NC, Daisy Cagle of Morehead City, NC, and Lily Cagle of Morehead City, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Asheboro Friends Meeting, 230 E. Kivett St., Asheboro with her grandson, Darrell Brown and Rev. Pat Thames officiating.
