Louise Morton

Louise Kivett Morton, age 93, of Troy went home to be with Jesus with her family at her side on Thursday, April 10, 2014. Mrs. Morton was born September 27, 1920 in Iredell County to Henry and Edith Kivett. She was retired from B. C. Moore Company and was a member of Frist Wesleyan Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morton was preceded in death by her husband, Clement L. Morton and daughter, Janice Morton. She is survived by two sons, Larry Morton of Troy, Phillip Morton and wife Barbie of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Shelby Hatley, Beverly Nifong, Floyd Burns; great grandchild, Bradly Nifong. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. The funeral will be Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 4:00 PM at First Wesleyan Church, 1368 NC Highway 134 North, Troy. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery.
