Louise Cooke Moore

Louise Cooke Moore, age 72, of 108 S Russell St., Troy died Monday, October 5, 2009 at 87 Nantahala Drive, Badin.Mrs. Moore was born July 17, 1937 in Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of Ray and Etta (Bruton) Coggins. She was a member of Troy Presbyterian Church and a retired unit secretary with 23 years of service with FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Monroe Moore. She is survived by four sons: Rick Moore of Badin, Steve Moore of Greensboro, Danny Moore of Millingport and Mike Moore of Knoxville, TN; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Troy Presbyterian Church, 202 E. Main Street, Troy with Rev. David Speering and Rev. Terrell Watts officiating.
