Louise Routh Gray, 94 of Grays Chapel passed away on January 8, 2017 at Universal Healthcare of Ramseur, NC.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be at 3:00 pm Thursday, January 12 at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, with visitation from 1:00-2:30 at the church.
Louise was born on January 9, 1922 in Randolph County to the late Thomas and Cornie Routh. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother. She loved making quilts and doing crafts. She was a lifetime member of Grays Chapel United Methodist Church. She volunteered at CUOC in Asheboro for 11 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Gray, brothers Kenneth Routh, Clifford Routh, Richard Routh and a sister Christine Haithcox.
Survivors include a sister, Berniece Kerns of Franklinville, NC, 3 sons, Larry (Barbara) of Burlington, NC; Warren (Irene) of Tampa, FL; and Eddie of Franklinville, NC; and one daughter Regina Lyerly (Butch) of Monroe, NC; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
