Louise Garner Edmonds, age 92, of Randleman died Friday, February 17, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Edmonds was born May 30, 1924, she was the daughter of Colon and Iola Kirkman Garner.
Louise was a native of Randolph County and a salutatorian graduate in 1941 from Randleman High School. Of all her many accomplishments, she was most proud of her work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in Washington, D.C. In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband Marcus Edmonds, step daughter, Glenda Sanders, sister, Bernice McDonald and uncle, Robert Page Garner.
She is survived by her brother: Jack Garner and wife Opal of Randleman; sisters: Marie Pugh of Salisbury, and Peggy Hall and husband Earl of Randleman; 9 nieces and nephews and numerous great, great, and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro, NC. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michael Butler officiating.
