Lois Styne

Lois Jessup Styne, age 77, of 1329 Ridgewood Circle, Asheboro died unexpectedly, Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Mrs. Styne was born October 22, 1933 in Randolph County, the daughter of Aldie and Evie Jessup. Lois loved the Lord, her children and she loved music. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano. She led the choir for several years. Lois was a self taught pianist and everyone enjoyed hearing her play. She attended Midway Wesleyan Church and Worthville United Methodist Church and was a devoted Christian. Lois would get up two hours early to read her daily devotions and have prayer time. She retired from Acme-McCrary Hosiery with over 20 years of service. She is survived by daughters: Patie Styne of Asheboro, Hope Styne Conner and her husband, Stuart of Concord; grandchild, Evie Conner, who was the light of her life.; sisters: Thelma Johnson of Columbia, SC, Helen Dixon and her husband, Dean of Randleman; brother Glenn Jessup and his wife Ernestine of Randleman, Eugene Jessup and his wife, Sherry of Mannattan, Ka.; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman with Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
