Lloyd Marshall Wills

Lloyd M. Wills, age 82, of Asheboro, died Monday, May 11, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Wills was a native of Louisiana and was of the catholic faith. He was a proud member of the US Marine Corp who retired after 20 years of service, having served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era. He was also a retired store manager with Sears after 20 years of service. Mr. Wills loved to fish, was an avid reader and was a fan of the music of the big band era.. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Ortego Wills to who he would have been married to for 62 years in July. He was the proud father of five children, Emily Louise Dayton of Clarkton, WA, Jonathan Lloyd Wills of Asheboro, Samuel Peter Wills of Asheboro, Maria Ann Anderson and husband Hans of Browntown, WI, Laurie Elizabeth Wills of Yadkinville, grandchildren, Joanna Ruth Dayton of Clarkton, WA, Lane Dayton of Lewiston, ID, Kathryn and Jakob Anderson of Browntown, WI; great grandson, Caleb; brother, Floyd Wills of TX. A private family service will be held. Memorials may be made to St Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund, 512 W. Wainman Ave., Asheboro, NC 27203.
