Lloyd Melvin Keeling, Jr., age 66, of Asheboro died Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Keeling was a native of Randolph County and was employed with P & P Chair for 30+ years. He loved playing and listening to bluegrass music. Mr. Keeling was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd M. Keeling, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Mildred keeling of Asheboro; daughters, Sherill Keeling of Asheboro, Melissa Keeling of Asheboro; son, Jerry Wayne James of Asheboro; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Judy Ritter and her husband Archie of Asheboro, Catherine DeHart of Asheboro; brothers, Randy Keeling of Asheboro, Ricky Keeling of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Friday, November 8, 2013 from 1:00 - 2:45 PM at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 148 Drum St., Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Lee Green officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro.
